I've been writing since 2003. That was when I started writing UC 630 Cop or Criminal (The Big Book) I had garnered the interest of several literary agents and a publisher, after 100's of rejections, who after reading the first three chapters wanted to see the finished manuscript. But at the time I was raising two young children and working full time on the over night shift. So I had to put the book on the shelf; for 10 years
When I resurfaced the interested parties were gone. However, the good news is that the Indie Revolution had happened. After doing a little research, I jumped all into the fray. Instead of publishing The Big Book, I decided to release it in parts as novellas. The first one was in 2013, the second was in 2015, the third was in 2016. That was when I decided to create Stonecastle Publications.
I've watched the company grow from 3 published books and 10 drafts, to 13 publications and 203 drafts in just 2 years. But something was still missing. Despite being registered with the Federal government, a member of LinkedIn, and having my own website, I still didn't "feel" official. What was missing was...
