The Journey

August 3, 2017 was the day I thought up Frankenstina. However the title was "Call Me"

October 12, 2017 I announce the Frankenstina project.

October 28, 2017 I start the outline.

November 7, 2017 I have completed the outline of 22 chapters and then am forced to take a break to reboot the creative process.

November 8, 2017 That was a short break! 26 chapters outlined.

November 24, 2017 The first sentence of the book is written.

November 28, 2017 Chapter 1 is completed.

December 6, 2017 Stuck on Chapter 2. I can't seem to find the motivation to finish it. I step away and work on Stonecastle Publications back list.

February 3, 2018 I create a Frankenstina marketing video on my YouTube channel.

March 14, 2018 Designs by Faye return the book cover for Frankenstina. Excellent job.

March 15, 2018 I attempt to resume working on manuscript but again outside noise knocks me out of the writing zone.

June 4, 2018 A Publisher expresses interest in Frankenstina.

June 16, 2018 Found motivation to work on outline for Frankenstina "Reborn"

September 4, 2018 After publishing "Training a Titan" I found the motivation to start Frankenstina and complete Chapter 2 in one day. 4,767 words!!

September 7, 2018 I'm fully committed to the book. My editor is on board as well. I'm ignoring all distractions.

September 22, 2018 I complete Chapter 5. I'm a little concern about sacrificing quality at this pace, but my editor reassured me I was not doing so. Pushing on. The pressure for the 10/31 launch date is crushing, but I have to persist.

September 25, 2018 Chapter 6 is completed.

September 30, 2018 Did no work on Frankenstina. Experiencing anxiety when I think of the 30 day window.

October 20, 2018 I complete seven chapters in five days, thanks to the encouragement of friends and family. My editor is right behind me, pushing and giving me motivation.

October 21, 2018 Chapter 18 completed!

October 23, 2018 Start Chapter 21 at 3 a.m. Prepare for 12 hour writing days.

October 24, 2018 Completed Chapter 24. Editor is waiting on me now.

October 25, 2018 Completed Chapter 25 This was a really hard chapter to write. I had to dig deep for this one.

October 27, 2018 Chapter 26 completed at 3:30 a.m.

October 28, 2018 Chapter 27 completed at 5:15 a.m.

I feel like I've just completed the New York City marathon! Regardless of how Frankenstina is received, I want all of you to know, that despite the agony, stressed, and sleepless nights, I enjoyed writing every word of it!

Born and raised in the slums of New York, he was raised by a single mom who earned her Master's in Early Childhood Development while working as a teacher's aide.
