Step 6 The Unspeakable
I felt it was time to give the reader a peek at what was in store for them later on in the book.
Now was the time for Gaberdeen, even though she was only 16 at the time, to make the transition from being the victim into becoming the monster.
At this point the reader empathizes with Gaberdeen with the way she has been treated by kids and her father. So how to I make her into the monster where the reader can say, "hey, I understand why she's killing" I had to come up with a horrific act that would send any normal person over the edge.
After reading this chapter, I think you would agree...Mission Accomplished!
