Not Monkeying Around

On June 22, 2021, the idea of my own version of a super-intelligent ape came into my mind. I didn’t want to do the old “take over the planet“ thing. Just California 😂. On June 26, 2021, I must have made my coffee ☕️ too strong that morning and decided to work on two books at once

🤦🏾‍♂️. Clarence and “Beyond Ruthless”

June 27, 2021, I begin working on the outline for Clarence.

June 29, 2021, I’m cruising ✍️ at a 1,478-word count.

July 01, 2021, Got a late ⏰ start and only did 1,030 wc.

July 03, 2021, I’m in the ✍️ zone at 2,522 wc.

July 04, 2021, was working on the other book. No such thing as holidays or weekends for writers.

July 06, 2021, Not a bad day 1,807 wc.

July 18, 2021 action chapter 1,671 wc.

July 30, 2021 Something stressful was going on that took me away from the pen. Got back to work on the other book on August 09, 2021.

August 17, 2021, I finish chapter 4.

August 29, 2021 Chapter 6 finished. Obvious I don’t make journal entries every day (is that a crime?😁

) Today is Sunday. My crazy side thinks the book will be finished by Friday. Wrong!!

September 05, 2021, In the zone 2,142 wc attempted to finish chapter 8 but couldn’t. Tough writing ✍️ and working a full-time job. I know; Don’t Cry 😢 for me Argentina” 🎶

September 10, 2021, I got great writing ✍️ done on chapter 9 but didn’t note the word count 😔.

September 12, 2021 Was pushing the envelope with a 4,064-word count! Was attempting to finish the last chapter.

September 13, 2021 book 📖 completed. I can’t describe the exuberance I’m feeling. It’s like childbirth without the pain. It’s a boy! I took a couple of days off to get the book uploaded and do some catch-up marketing. (oh and take a shower and shave 🧔‍♂️ lol)

September 16, 2021, jumped back on Beyond Ruthless with a 2,386-word count. My goal is to complete another 5 books by the end of the year.
