Step 10: Connecting the dots
Enter Big Foot:
There is a need to start a trail, albeit a trail of blood. Crimes in different cities needed to be connected to step up Juanita Chases' investigation.
So I had to have a crime of the past pop up to show a connection with the death of the retired F.B.I. agent's nephew.
At the same time I realize this would be a perfect opportunity to throw a monkey in the wrench and open possibilities. A scapegoat? A copycat killer? More victims? The possibilities were endless and it is in this Chapter that the sequel Frankenstina "Reborn" was cultivated in my mind.
I hadn't worked out the specifics of it, of course but I had the basic foundation needed for the sequel.
And odd twist is that the third book was already in my mind but when i started this chapter, I automatically, or rather it automatically pushed that book; Frankenstina "The Memoirs" into the third spot.
I've heard authors say how some books take on a life of their own or change directions. Frankenstina seems to be no different.
